Fixing the problem

I took out about 20 rows and knit them in the toe yarn, so I think it will work.
So now I am at the part where I start the heel.

Problem

I was flying along on my next Basketweave socks when I got to the place where I do the foot increases, then everything went haywire. The rows that were going around so nicely, turned into blocks of migrating color. You would thing I would stop before I knitted 20 something rows, but I just kept on knitting. Now I have had to stop and rip back to the increase rows, and try to figure out what to do next.

My Swap Package

I belong to the Lion Brand Swaps forum on Ravelry and we recently had a Winter Wonderland swap.  My partner sent me the following swap package.
It is a wonderful package. I have been wanting tip protectors and stitch markers for a long time, but have been too cheap to buy them. Just look at all the wonderful things in the package. She crocheted a little bag and stuffed it full of goodies.
I just love everything, row counters, yarn sleeves, buttons, cable needles, pom-pom maker, portable scissors, needle protectors, a little bag of buttons and needles, wow!
There were skeins of yarn, Debbie Bliss Riva, Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed, Lion Brand Amazing and Wisdom Yarns Poems.
A pair of mittens with a hand crocheted flower.
Stitch Markers
Lollipops
A loom and hook

A knitting gauge
A hand stitched bag filled with wonderful edible goodies! The little bag has coffee cups on it.
And this beautiful hand crocheted scarf. I love the color. A great big thank you to my swap partner.

Update

I finally finished my next pair of socks from Cat Bordhi's book "Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters."
I used Dream in Color Everlasting sock yarn with two #2 circular needles. I started them on Janutary 4, 2012 and finished on March 26 2012.
I started my next pair called Basketweave Cuff using TrekkingXXL and Salvia yarn.
I also received my swap package from the forum -fiber, friends and fun swap. The colors of the roving are so lovely, now I just have to get up the courage to spin the yarn.
I think this will make beautiful yarn.

Wingspan

I finished my KAL project for my Ravelry group. We knitted a pattern called Wingspan. It was fun and easy, no counting rows. I chose to use Trekking XXL yarn for mine. When I finished it, I thought it needed a little something extra, so I crocheted a border around the bottom. I think it turned out rather nice.
The yarn Trekking XXL
In progress.
Finished! I also decided to add two more triangles to the end.

My swap

I took part in a Lion Brand Swap on Ravelry and this is my swap package.
I needlefelted this little sheep as part of my package.
Now I am taking part in a KAL. We are knitting this from a pattern called Wingspan and I chose to use Trekking XXL for mine.
I just finished needle felting this little bear for my etsy store.
He is fully five way jointed with thread.

Final Item

I finished knitting the final item for my swap. I knitted a grey cowl using Lion Brand Vanna's Choice yarn in the colorway of #149 Silver Grey. This, along with the fingerless mittens and shawl from the previous  post are for a Lion Brand Yarn Swap.
This pattern is from the book "Knit & Wrap" by Nathalie Mornu. The design is Frivolous by Jolynn Burt. Her's is a bit more drapey because she used Naturally Canon Spa, which has 25% bamboo, 75% microdenier acrylic. The Lion Brand Vanna's Choice is 100% acrylic.
I think it turned out rather nice.
